hey everyone i'm here in sydney! surprisingly the flight wasn't too bad. i had an open seat next to me on both flights which was really nice. the entire flight it was dark outside so that made it easy for me to sleep. i am staying at a huge hostel right in sydney and its very easy to get around. right now i am on a computer at the bunac office since i havent had time to set up my laptop yet.
so far it has been fairly easy to adapt to the culture here. the accents are a little hard to understand but im getting used to it. everyone is very nice and helpful which makes things alot easier. not much has really happened so i will post later with more exciting news. for now i am looking for a place to live.

it's about 8:15 a.m. here...a little cloudy weather-wise...the phils had a big game last nite...go marlins for beating those stinkin' mets...way to go dan uggla...will we be be dancing in the streets soon?...it's been a long time...I think the phils are gonna do it...mitch williams was so excited on comcast and did anyone see the locker room footage showing the phils after the mets lost last nite...it was great...wishing everyone a great day and weekend...jess, I still can't believe you are in Australia!!

hey! i can't believe you're in australia, that's crazy! congrats tho, i read your blog and i'm sure everything is absolutely breathtaking out there... minus the guys wearing the tight pants and slip on shoes :) the eagles did have a big game the other day beating detroit by like 40 points or something. eagles are at the giants this weekend so i'll be watching and thinking of you!!! just wanted to say hi... miss you!
